Walk the Line

Directed by Leia Browning, Walk the Line was originally formed in 2013 in Rockwall, TX as a vocal ensemble that “walked the line” between a traditional show choir and a non-competitive a cappella group. By 2015, they decided to enter ICHSA and become a full time a cappella ensemble. In 2016, they were semi-finalists and in 2017, advanced to the ICHSA Finals in New York City. They also hosted and competed at the first SING Texas Vocal Arts Festival, opened the Headliner Show at SING 2018, and were the 2019 SING Texas Vocal Arts Convention (TVAC) Champions!! The members of the 2017, 2018, and 2019 ensembles came together over the past 2 years to record songs from all three years for their first EP "Leading Me Home," which was released in May 2019. One of their singles, "Emotions," was featured on the BOHSA 2019 album. “The Way I Am” was featured on BOHSA 2020, and “Goldmine” was featured on Voices Only 2019. In 2020, Walk the Line took 2nd place at the ICHSA Southwest Semifinals and they are competing in the 2021 Virtual ICHSA Competition.
